CQBHA Calendar

2025

As ever at the heart of what we do.  We have an exciting series of cruises planned for 2025.  We have set out some brief details below. Marina Trip Bookings will go live in early February (see below for details).

We will keep you updated through our Website, Facebook Member’s Page and the Newsletter and directly if you have made a booking.

All of our Marina Trips and Activities are at the mercy of the weather and this will need to be considered before setting off.

All the Marina Trips are listed on the agenda boards below. Clicking on the relevant trip name (in colour) to open up the poster with full details of the cruise destination and other information.

All the activities (on our Calendar under News) can be opened by clicking on the relevant activity name (in colour) which will open up the poster with full details of the activity location and other information.

Cruises are now free to attendThere will be a £5 booking fee for each trip in 2025 but the fees paid for each cruise will be given to a cruise attendee to take on the cruise to use as a contribution towards, for example, a pontoon party?

This will, in effect, make cruises FREE to attend.  We wanted to do this to recognise the support of all our loyal cruising in company members, and to encourage new members to get involved with our cruising in company family.

Mooring fees and other costs are the responsibility of the individual skipper.

CQBHA Booking Form will be live early February 2025, we look forward to seeing you on the cruises.

The Barbican is only a short walk from the marina with all it’s marvellous shops, eateries and galleries if you fancy a walk after the trip down from Poole.   The city is within walking distance of the marina, and there’s the The National Marine Aquarium just outside the marina on the edge of Sutton Harbour. There is also some amazing historical and modern places to visit, so you won’t be bored with this venue. Confirmed booked dates: Monday 26th to Thursday 29th July (3 nights)

The marina is at the bottom of the town where there are many shops, restaurants and interesting places within easy walking distance. You also have the harbour area with lots of galleries, eateries and interesting places too. In the past we have booked a meal at the Torquay Yacht Club just up the hill from the harbour oposite the Living Coasts Aviary. At the Aviary you can walk around the penguin area looking at the different species. They were happy in their habitats. They are in a very large kind of enclosure where they are free to go wherever they want. A few walk among the visitors. There were other types of birds at this attraction which were free to fly around. There were also otters, seals, fish, sea horses and bugs to look at.
